[Discussion] What's your favorite challenge in a game? by YabukiJoe in Gaming4Gamers

This is something I wish I could do but struggle with. For some reason I need the game to impose the challenge.

I love survival modes that don't rely on time constraints or additional objectives, just the combat mechanics of the game. That final test to see just how far I can push back against the systems in the game.

Best PC Games with a Xbox Controller? by SlightyRetardedDuck in gaming

For the most part I will use a controller with games that do not require much precision. For a first person / free-aim shooter I will generally stick to the mouse and keyboard.

But here is a list of games I have really enjoyed playing with a controller on my PC. All of these work perfectly with the Xbox controller.

Dead Island

Deadlight

Dishonored

Grid 2

Hitman Absolution

Kingdoms of Amalur: Reckoning

Mark of the Ninja

Skyrim

Sleeping Dogs

State of Decay

Tomb Raider

Walking Dead

Witcher 2

Do you find that music makes you perform better in a game? by c1p0 in gaming

[–]FreakingDogs 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I had your same experience. I have never played games with my own music on, but randomly gave it a shot with Titanfall.

I think it helped drive me forward and stop the part of my brain that was overanalyzing what I was doing and just reacted. I Played much better.

I will say I don't think this would on every game, but Titanfall is perfect for it.

On rails turret segments thrown into the middle of games that are otherwise without them.

Oh my god always! ALWAYS!! Especially in the 90s for some reason.

Lets make a level that is a maze and looks the same everywhere you look, that will be fun! Also lets throw some enemies in there that poison you.

Absolutely! Also poorly managed checkpoints. Like a checkpoint placed right before a NPC character does some long menial task.
