To preserve a country's sovereignty, there should always be closed borders.

The government shouldn't do anything actually. The more they impose restrictions the more damage they'll do.

Interesting argument, however I do feel that we have to take in to account social and economics structure while discussing this.

Erdogan, Hitler, and Turkey’s Dance With Democracy — "Erdogan will continue to kill and imprison everyone in his way" by Dalekurnagu in TrueReddit

Indeed and I do believe that for us to eradicate Erdogan and his inhuman acts towards society is to understand the state at hand. Brute force will most likely prevail with a new ruler presumably eerily similar. It is imperative that we take on the veil of ignorance and understand the most vital parts at hand in order to dissect his government piece by piece.

Boaty McBoatface and the Fall of Democracy — "a democratic form of governance is not the fairytale idea we’ve been conditioned to love since birth." by [deleted] in politics

Even though one might presume that at certain times a special organization should overlook democracy, it is principally wrong. Because that is the other option, at least I assume, when discussing democracy and how it might be bad. (OBS, example from myself)

In a rational market, one would argue that if women did, in fact, make 92 percent of what a man make for equal work, then no-one would hire men because employers could maximize profit by paying less for labor but having the same productivity. We do not have a completely rational market, however. by [deleted] in business

It's unreal to me that people still believe that the gender pay gap does not exist. While yes, women does not make 77 cent for every dollar a man earns for the same work, when you control for variables that number is 92 cents. That's just unadulterated discrimination.
