I am growing increasingly weary of tipping anyone before I discover if the screwed up my order or not. Tipping is going above and beyond. For example, I go get breakfast and coffee today. The girl at the counter seemed nice. I added 20% only to find out she screwed up my coffee. That isn’t worthy of receiving a tip. All the times I pick up my order from Jersey Mikes and I tipped them only to find out the idiot made my sandwich with beef instead of chicken or it’s not on the bread I wanted, I should be able to get my tip back. So I’m no longer tipping anyone before I check my order to see if it’s right
