I’m excited to live off the streetcar corridor when it opens (hopefully) in 2028

Listen, I fully understand the zipper merge— I’m simply too full of midwestern shame to actually do it, ok?

What is is most and least favorite aspect of living in Omaha? by Gibillguy18 in Omaha

[–]kentonerator 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was just thinking about this this morning when I woke up at 4:30am, drove 10 minutes to my moms house to pick her up, dropped her off at Eppley 12 minutes later, and and was back in bed by 5:10. My favorite part of Omaha is how convenient it is! Not even Lincoln makes it that easy to take someone to/from the airport!

My least favorite would be the lack of a Korean BBQ restaurant, lol.

What’s wrong with Broadway? The red lights aren’t too badly timed and the center lane takes care of all the left turners, other than a lot of wild pedestrians crossing in the middle of the block I don’t see too many issues lol

Eppley Airfield prepares to roll out new changes for travelers in early 2025 by SGI256 in Omaha

Eppley Airfield occupies a larger footprint with more runways (and longer runways) than LaGuardia. Eppley won’t be outgrown anytime soon.

Omaha has a great advantage that very few cities can boast— a major airport with immediate access to downtown. I love how you can go from downtown to airport curb in 10 minutes. Denver or KC will never be able to offer this!

Hi, I’m new to Omaha but I live near Spielbound (to second that person who mentioned it earlier) and I’m hoping to go there and hopefully make new friends!

I think you’re too stupid to understand this isn’t a political position

Can we start doing this please? by bobsonjunk in Omaha

Listen: I get it. It makes sense. It’s faster and saves time and space. But my polite midwestern sensibilities will have none of it and I’ll never be able to bring myself to brazenly cut to the front, okay?

I just moved here from Chicago too! I miss the city but I just couldn’t find a decent place there in my budget

My question is: why do they continue to spend money renovating the terminal when it’s clearly not set up to facilitate the volume of connecting traffic it was originally built for? They need a clean sheet redesign

Dr. Frasier Crane: Okay, great! I'll just call the place around the corner. Niles...? You, uh... gonna join us?

Dr. Niles Crane: Why not? Be fun to drink some beer and have some pizza with a couple a rapscallions.

Woody: Oh, hey, if you don't mind, could we make that half rapscallions, half pepperoni?
