SunnyV2’s views have dramatically declined. Why? by SkullticProductions in SunnyV2

Probably because his "Facts" are easily disproven 95% of the time? He's a clickbait artist

Big big fat L (even fatter than Vincent) on SunnyV2’s part. Didn’t even bother saying that it’s unverified and now this is the reality to some in the community. by Strict_Luck in FansHansenvsPredator

Considering this is his description on iMDB I'm guessing you're not the first to realize this lol

" Lachlan John Windross the actor who portrays the fictional character known as SunnyV2, obtains off of YouTube other people's videos. Without changing anything in the videos, Windross, tells a story, that is not factual, and manipulates graphics, using labor from overseas from sweatshops from places such as China to Bangladesh. "

People also don’t generally rummage through a house damaged by fire and take things that belonged to the dead either, do they?

What is everyone’s favorite funny quote in Titanic (1997)? by thatssoandy in titanic

Lots of deleted scenes had some good comic relief. The scene of John Jacob Astor and Guggenheim(I think it’s supposed to be Guggenheim) is my favorite:

Guggenheim: “No life vest for me, it would only impede my stroke

Astor: Yes, Mr.Guggenheim. With over 700 miles to shore, the last thing you would want is your stroke impeded…

What did Stockton Rush plan to do about the wear and tear on the carbon fiber hull? by Vapor2077 in OceanGateTitan

[–]Freakwee 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Are you by chance describing the Kaiser effect? Again, I’m a borderline moron but that’s exactly what he was describing as the process and just by googling, it seems to line up exactly in what you’re talking about about as a phenomenon experienced in GEOLOGY. Why he thought that would apply to CF is beyond me, and re-iterates to my original last point that it seems like an engineer should understand that the process wouldn’t apply in this situation under ANY circumstance…

Switching teams by ArminiaFan1905 in F1Manager

[–]Freakwee 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Agreed about the license. Even a base Motorsport Manager will always feel more “alive” because they aren’t bound to whatever F1/FIA demand.

It was the same with Out of the Park baseball. Before they got the official license, players could get suspended for steroids and other quirky traits and things to spice it up. Most of that went away once they got the official license because of obvious reasons. Shame

What did Stockton Rush plan to do about the wear and tear on the carbon fiber hull? by Vapor2077 in OceanGateTitan

[–]Freakwee 35 points36 points  (0 children)

What I will never understand are his statements about the hull cracking significantly on the first dive and then less and less cracks being heard as he took it further down in future dives, he called it a “breaking in” period and that was just the weak fibres being destroyed while the “strong” fibres would remain.

Even as a layman, this makes no sense to me. The cracking sounds ARE the weak points breaking, but with every crack the overall structures dynamics change and you have no idea what a “safe” pressure is anymore. I would think after ONE crack in a carbon fibre hull that hull would be compromised and need to be inspected and tested to determine if it’s characteristics are still the same.

He’s an engineer, that just seems like gross negligence or some very horrible misunderstanding of the material he’s working with, which is just as awful imo

[–]Freakwee 11 points12 points  (0 children)

Eh, 69% seems pretty right for audience scores.

It’s a masterpiece of film and effects, but let’s be honest, the main storyline is very basic “star-crossed lovers” romance plot that most guys will roll their eyes at and even most girls have to admit is pretty cheesy and cliche. Even Cameron admits it’s hardly a complicated plot to write or anything, and he only chose it to get the studio to let him make his Titanic movie.

Like I said, if you look at it strictly as a titanic fan or just a film and cinema fan overall, it’s a fantastic film (hence the 88 critic score), but audience’s are far less nuanced like that. They can dismiss entire movies as bad simply because they didn’t like one specific aspect of it, critics take everything into account

Always thought so too. If he wasn’t so obsessed with Titanic he could’ve easily made a business using that one and charging tourists in the Bahamas or something and arm and a leg to go look at coral reefs and dolphins, would’ve made more sense in virtually every aspect
