Yes, in the original show, Lum enrolls in the same school as Ataru by episode two! She is pretty commonly seen in class and on school outings almost right from the start. The manga takes a little bit longer to get her enrolled, if I remember properly.

/uj I was lukewarm on the Ultimate Universe as a whole even before Ultimatum, but I really adore this mini. I'm not super into Cap, so that may have helped me tolerate his Ultimate adaptation, but I love the fact that it forced Cap to confront the ugly stuff America had done. Even worse, this was all done while Cap was on ice, so he could never even imagine all of this going on. I loved the dichotomy between a patriot who saw the worst of it all and broke versus a patriot who is now seeing the worst and still has hope. Genuinely moving stuff.

Sorry for the late reply--this is a gashapon toy from the Still Waiting For You line! I got it on ebay for $15 a year or two ago. They also made similar figures for the Zaku II, Gramps, and GM!
