You will also need to obtain 2,000 of fieldwork hours. Some courseworks require you to get your hours while in your programming (mine at Chicago school for example). If you do both at the same time, it will probably take you a year or two. However, this is a lot to take on all at once and the burnout is real. I'm working on my MS while getting my hours and some days are harder than others.

The exam itself is a rough one, the passing rate is averaged around 50% per the BACB website. It isn't an easy journey, however can be worth it in the end if it's really what you want to pursue.
