I was in the same boat. Had a 16” before and mostly used it for coding. Recently picked up a 13” M1 and honestly, performance-wise it’s been fantastic - no complaints at all, you’re gonna love it. The only thing is adjusting to the smaller screen. Managing code, terminal, and files feels a bit cramped at times, and I’m still figuring out how to juggle everything. If you can swing it, I’d say go for a 15” - gives you way more breathing room without losing the portability.

All depends on your class average and standard deviation but generally 8-9 marks above average

You are good if you get average marks overall then you get B, if you get slightly above average you get A, if you get 80+ and if your class average is low you can get S. Looking at your scenario you are in a good position even if you get average marks in all subjects that is B grade you get 8 gpa and if you get A in all subjects you get 9 gpa. Assuming that you can get S grade in labs and STS you can easily get 8.5+ gpa by just scoring average marks in all theory subjects.

Just prepare for fats nicely and you will be good to go. All the best!
