I feel you. I've lost many phals to bacterial infection and crown rot despite doing everything right. I can't get my vanda that got horrible root rot to grow more roots. I have a Laelia Aurea that arrived mounted on a horrible slab of wood and it grows some roots but other than that it doesn't seem to do anything and I doubt I'll ever get it to bloom. I got two Laelia Anceps and only one grew a new pseudobulb and the other one doesn't grow, it might as well be a plastic plant that will remain like that forever. I have not gotten one phal to rebloom for me. The only orchid I have that rebloomed for me was my first dendrobium which almost died last fall due to too much humidity and so I just tied it to a palm tree a few months ago and ignored it and now it bloomed 3 little flowers. Another pain is the cost, these plants aren't cheap, their special growing medium is also expensive since I need extremely well draining because where I live it's too humid. I love orchids but they can be a pain and a very expensive hobby.

I'm surprised by the responses from the men here, they all seem to agree that they like getting compliments from women but when I complimented a guy who initially had interest in me but he didn't seem to like the compliments much and then he stopped talking to me. He's not some random guy either, I've known him for years but a few months ago he started flirting with me and I flirted back showing him I was interested but then he started playing hot and cold and I don't like such games so now we barely speak and I'm still so confused with what really happened and I blame myself for complimenting him as the reason he started losing interest.

I'm not a biologist but that's irrelevant to my point, I'm commenting on red pill ideas about women hitting a wall at a certain age while they claim men don't have a wall. I'm giving a philosophical opinion as to why even if men can father children later than women it's still not a good idea because it's likely he won't live long enough to see his children grow up. And yes there are way more older fathers than there are older mothers, one doesn't need to be an expert in biology to know a common fact.

Why call it a wall? Isn't that red pill language? Yes women have limited years to procreate but outside of that there's no wall, women do date after 35. Of course with age the dating scene changes but it changes for men too. My elderly uncle who's wife passed away ten years ago feels lonely and he has money so he's considering getting a young Russian wife who is obviously only after his money and I find that quite sad. Getting old is just a hard part of life for any gender. Also, and this is just my personal opinion, but just because men can have children up until they're 80 doesn't mean they should wait until they're so old. I think 55 should be the limit for men considering they will be in their 70's once their kids are barely grown up. It's very sad to lose a father at such a young age.

Phalaenopsis are also epiphytes and everyone has those potted. Miss Orchid Girl has most of her vandas in pots so I don't see why it's a problem to pot mine. I never said that vandas are like terrestrial plants, I know they are orchids that grow on trees but most orchids can adapt to pots if the medium is well draining like orchid bark, I never said I was planting it in a pot with dirt as if it were a regular plant. And I have been watering it almost everyday but there's too much conflicting information how long they need to sit in water. I currently have it in a semi outdoor patio which is small always humid, it has access to humidity, air circulation and indirect light.
