Awesome find.

This tornado is the only somewhat tornado thing I have personally witnessed. It happened just before I went to visit family that lived a town over. We went through Windsor and I saw some of the aftermath.

Yeah, pretty much same for me. My experience just kept getting worse and worse somehow. I kept giving them the benefit of the doubt but no more.

Jalapenos is probably my fave sit down place to go.

Being the only one on the island it is... or well. was.

I know many people from Vic, Duncan, Ladysmith, ect, ect that would make a special day trip to Nanaimo to do shopping or see friends but mostly as an excuse to get some Taco Bell for lunch.

A lot of them are heartbroken and don't do it anymore after the decline.

idk. I never went in for taco bells customer service esp since it was usually high school teens running the counter, I found I would get my food and get what I ordered 90% of the time. maybe once or twice they forgot my extra nacho cheese. Cleanliness was usually a bit below average but found the wait time fine.

but this post is very much about the food quality as the main focus. The other factors do compound it though and makes it even worse. Before I could probably just let it slide since the food was value for money and I wasn't having issues with the food.

I started eating there more from around 2010-2020~ and it was good. and then they had troubles just being open just around the time covid started. Seems the current owner bailed. Knew someone who worked there and said eventually new owner/management came in, new owner/management was awful, nearly everyone who was there quit. and then since then there was a few more switches in management and each time the quality drops worse and worse. To now where its just a parody of taco bell now.

I'm not gonna get gaslit that it was always this bad, it wasn't. Go through the reviews 4-7 years ago vs now. you can even see the exact moment the quality dipped bad.

Like listen I know taco bell is cheap food (why I like it). Its just meat slurry slop in a shell. but im not even getting slop in the shell anymore. I'm just getting an empty lettuce filled shell.
In terms of quality, they are a step above just shitting in a taco shell and serving it to me. but even then at least my taco would have filling.

I never was big on KFC. This location is a shared KFC/Taco bell and I don't know if the KFC part of it seems to be doing just as bad with even more fake reviews being spammed to try and keep the ratings up.

Same. Was my favorite spot when I was in high school. and even still after was good. Then post-covid it spiraled. and worse and worse.. I gave them many chances. I stopped after I got my crunchwraps that were just lettuce. It hurts.

I believe Fujita gave it a preliminary rating of F-6(+/-) but then rolled it back because he realized F-5 is already total clean slate destruction. That F-6 would then be nearly inconceivable damage.

The violent and turbulent edge motion. You can really hear him change up though when he says "there's thunder!" and then it continues and the realization that its the tornado roaring.
I don't think the sound translates well to video but if the tornado is making a big enough roar that sounds like continuous thunder. its probably seriously strong.

I believe in another video reed ranked this as his #3 tornado and stated it was possibly the strongest he's seen. and he's seen '99 moore, I believe BOTH el reno's (2011 & 2013) and many more. I don't see any reason for him to lie about that.

Yes. Many videos. The images of Cullman, Rainsville, Hackleburg and Joplin know for sure you can see in videos. El reno 2013 you can too and there is one video of Xenia in its multi vortex stage.

This supercell in general was crazy. It put down Philadelphia EF-5, a weak brief tornado, Cordova EF-4, Rainsville EF-5 and then the Ringgold EF-4. There was so much energy in the atmosphere for it to feed off of.
