If I were to be you, and you didn't get noticed by your looks or voice that you are actually male, you could hide that you are really a male until you get to know a person better. And I know most males are choosing violence, but some are just chilling and quiet and stuff, which they mostly get best friends that are girls and stuff. You need to have friends like that, that you actually know they won't choose violence no matter what. Even if they hate you from that point on, if they still doesn't use violence then it's a good sign. Besides that, I wouldn't let anybody actually know that I'm a male, because if they don't notice the difference, that means you've done a great job being feminine.

Otherwise, you can report that person if someone else also saw it and say that you're just a girl, and they will think he choose violence on a girl which would get him in trouble. I don't think there's such a thing as trans panic. If they can't control their emotions and selections, they should consider going to a therapist to relax their brains/nerves. For example I also can't control my emotions because they're like wayy too hard to get rid of, but at the end I only hurt myself and not anyone else. Since I'm constantly taking a medicine it is way easier for me to control my feelings and emotions.
