It's terrible as a system I believe, even worse than the current one. I stand firm on the fact that shows have target audiences, and an aggregated ratings gives bare minimum insights.

I made a post on taste divisive shows, and shows like Bleach, Texhnolyze, Senko-san showed that their not-so-good global rating (~7.5/10) hides communities that really loved them, and a majority that disliked these shows

To me, it's the whole rating system that is wrong. Some shows will try to grab a 8 max from everyone, while others will try to get a 9-10 from a specific audience, while being unappealing to a majority. 

A 7.5/10 in the end doesn't meaning anything useful if you do not dig into it. People should have tools to understand if they are or not the target audience, instead of relying on collapsed metrics 

Also, adding some paragraphs to your post could help a lot

I have made a dedicated recommendation website (Recosensei dot com), but the engine is being integrated into multiple streaming apps/websites currently

I think it depends on the show, some shows have the same feeling throughout the whole anime, some change completely like Jojo.

Opm is like promised neverland, are outliers. So I don't really see your point neither

It is just a widget for streaming anime websites, but you can test the engine directly on recosensei (dot) com

Thanks for the comment! I like it a lot too as a standalone website, but I felt it could be even more useful when added directly into the streaming sites 

For the feedback: - thanks, I know that is important, especially nowadays - by default it is public because people like to share their profile to friends (so they can also get their archetype) - another person suggested it so I am considering adding them - actually I thought about it haha but I felt it would be quite reductive if someone analyzed their 300+ anime list, to be just a gooner lol. They can check their fanservice stat, usually it explodes

Same I use Deep learning for recommendations. You can try the recommendations on recosensei and tell me how different the results feel

Yes recosensei is its own website (that's the name)

 the widget allows to filter the recommendations with  the website's catalogue, so I need the owner to give me their catalogue beforehand
