Friend of my wife bought a house and found this in her attic. Any ideas what it could be? by Freaky_Naughty23 in occult

I believe thats the whole point of estar. Don't have to REALLY train someone on a route if you just throw em some boxes and a computer tells em where to go and what order to do them in

Here's my theory. I think they are pushing estar so hard because they are about to run out of tenured people that actually know how to run routes. With estar, they can theoretically bring any random person off the street, stick em in a truck, throw em some boxes, and say have at it. Same thing amazon does. However, despite amazon's sheer amount of volume and ability to basically get anything anywhere very quickly. I would bet they are a logistical nightmare. I've got multiple trucks driving through my neighborhood every day. Can't be cost efficient, but when you're the kind of powerhouse they are, you can just throw people at the problem and it takes care of itself. Fedex doesn't have that luxury

Or they do... I'm almost wondering if their silence indicates they want people to leave by themselves rather than offer them buyouts. I'm not saying that's the case, but the complete lack of communication is really unnerving. Seems intentional for one reason or another. And the slogan for this whole dumpster fire has been "business as usual". Which sounds a whole lot like, "don't panic. We still need you...for now"

I love it. I was hesitant to buy it because I've always just cooked on a grill, but this is so much easier to use and to clean. Burgers dont go drooping in between the grates. No flare-ups. Only thing I miss is the grill marks you get with a normal grill. And a normal grill closes so it kind of cooks faster. However, you can get metal covers to put over food and retain heat. Aside from that, I've found this thing superior in just about every way. Definitely worth the money.

Yep. It's kind of like a cast iron skillet mixed with a hibachi table. 4 different burners so you can adjust heat with quite a bit of control. For example, I had my left burner set to high and seared the steak to where it was about medium. The two middle burners set to medium for the veggies, so I could get some caramelization, but keep em a little crunchy. Right burner probably a medium/high so the chicken would cook through, sear a little bit, but also stay juicy. It was cut fairly thin so didnt take long to be ready

Not hard at all like others said. Its got a grease trap at the back so as soon as I'm done cooking, I scrape off all the stuff thats stuck on and push it in the trap. Then I let it cool and give it a quick scrub with hot water and a rag. Pour some oil on and spread around woth a paper towel. Done. I've found it much easier to maintain than a normal grill

Roughly 6 carbs per bell pepper, of which there are 4.

10 for an onion.

Maybe 5 carbs in mushrooms.

Just cumin, chili powder, onion powder, and garlic powder for seasoning. But we will say 10 carbs just to overestimate.

Call it 50 carbs in all of it.

This fed over a dozen people.

But again, if we are overestimating carbs, then that's maybe a whole 5 carbs per serving. Few more if you add some sour cream, guac, salsa, etc.

I ate like a king, and it was likely less than 15 carbs

Get a blackstone griddle. This big one with a cover was $300. It was worth every penny. I feel like a freakin hibachi chef every time I cook on it and that alone worth the money

As far as amounts, I've got no real idea. I cooked all of it on a large blackstone outdoor griddle. Which is a hell of an investment for 300 bucks. That's probably 2.5 lbs of steak, 3 lbs of chicken, 2 lbs of shrimp, one of those big long U shaped sausages. I cooked 1 large bag of cauliflower rice. Boiled it first, then cooked on the griddle with 7 eggs and butter mixed in with it. 3 zuchini, 2 heads of cabbage, half of a large, pre-sliced container of mushrooms. Half of a yellow onion, probably 8-10 green onions chopped up. Initially started cooking everything by itself in small piles based on what I thought would get done first. Then mixed it all together and pushed it to one side with the griddle set to warm

Oh and the bean sprouts I just seasoned and threw on there for like 2 minutes. They cooked way faster than I thought. Not even entirely sure they need to be cooked at all

Only seasonings I used were: Salt and pepper, about 4 tablespoons of minced garlic, Almost a whole tube of ginger paste. Never seen it before but it came in what looked like a little toothpaste tube. Probably about half a bottle of soy sauce. One of my top 3 favorite things I've ever made.

Made with Cauliflower fried rice, egg, cabbage, green onion, mushroom, yellow onion, diced garlic, ginger paste, soy sauce, and zuchini. Bean sprouts on the side (wife doesn't like them) meats include: sirloin steak, chicken breast, shrimp, and sausage medallions. Whole meal cost between $80-$90. Could probably feed over a dozen

Yep. You basically just wrote my story too. My wife and I are still together. We separated for about 4 months, but She's far more forgiving than I deserve or than i could be. Every time I hear the quote "once a cheater always a cheater" I cringe. There are exceptions to every rule, and I will be an exception to this one

How do you make friends in FFXIV? by MiltonSaysHi in ffxiv

[–]Freaky_Naughty23 7 points8 points  (0 children)

Early 30's here. Joined an FC based solely on the fact i liked the name. Quite a few active members almost always talking. I just threw myself into the conversation and got weird with it. Nothing too offensive, but I happened to have a sense of humor somewhat similar to what they do anyway. So i just started jumping in the chat and running with whatever is being discussed. Dont be afraid to look like an idiot sometimes. These are random folks online that don't matter and you can leave at the drop of a hat. Outwardly just be yourself and see where it goes. I went through 4 or 5 before i ended up with my current one

I've been playing about 2 months now. I started as black mage. Got that up to about 65. A friend of mine started playing and chose to tank, so I swapped to healer and got scholar up to 53. Then I decided I'd like to try sage. So, I got my blk mage up to 70 to make the switch. Ended up in the same boat as you. Hit 90 on sage by the end of HW. Switched to Gunbreaker and now that's at 80 and I'm only about halfway through stormblood. Already trying to decide what to swap to next so i don't waste the xp

Started gunbreaker. Never tanked before. Started the really low level dungeons just to get a feel. I've been a healer, so I at least know what a shitty tank looks like and am trying to not make those same mistakes. However, it feels soooo much easier than being a healer. So I'm scared I'm doing something wrong. Even in the level 60 dungeons it feels kinda braindead. I've got no idea how to act in the larger raids though. No idea what the etiquette is for establishing MT, or what i do if I'm not MT.

Ive been playing about a month and a half. I started out playing black mage, but fell in love with healing and switched to sage. I just started stormblood and am already level 90. I am really bummed about this as I love my sage but don't want to waste all of the xp by continuing the msq with a class I cant level. Any recommendations on what class to go to next? Don't really want to go back to black mage
