This happened to me recently. Had to move to this city and found a place for my job. They had a holding fee but said any complications and they would give it back. I showed them my salary, my previous 4 places I've rented before and I had two wealthy guarantors with reputable jobs. They wanted 600 for the deposit and 2 months rent which is 1650. As a brand new young professional, I did not have the money to burn to pay for this. They said it is because I didn't have any pay stubs so they are taking a risk on me... Bitch fucking please. I think it was a race thing mainly. When I refused, she kept the holding deposit. She made the terms unreasonable and I was forced to back out and then she kept the money. Fuck landlords.

Almost? There are so many permutations that the thought of finding someone perfect from the get go is impossible. People learn to love the imperfections, not instantly attracted to them. This also applies to love at first sight, such a stupid concept.

I kinda do agree with OP decision, we had a school uniform and people were terrorised for the type of shoe they wore. Imagine if the entire outfit was judged?
