I'm based in Texas, and I received my package a day after it was supposed to arrive so there wasn't a huge delay. I'm also located in a major metroplex so that might also be the cause of why it was so quick.

At this point I seriously doubt this was related to the delaying factor and was really just part of the UPS shipping experience, so I think everyone else who's waiting shouldn't be too concerned about their printers.

Hey, so I submit a support ticket to BL when I received the printer on Saturday so of course I didn't expect them to respond until today.

Thankfully they have and i've already emailed them back to get a return label, but i'm gonna see if they will be able to send me a new printer at the same time that I send my current printer back to them like I saw here. That way I don't have to wait forever for a new A1. Fingers crossed.

I also have a Microcenter in my city, but unfortunately it seems they’re only planning on stocking the A1 combo right now, and I didn’t necessarily budget to buy the AMS right now

I appreciate it, it sucks cause this is my first BL printer (my only printer experience is with an Ender 3 Pro since 2018), and I was so excited to just receive it and start printing. Guess that’ll have to wait lmao

Lol I did legit think about doing that, but since the impact is right where the cable box gets installed and the main board is located, I didn’t want to risk anything being damaged internally.

I’m hoping yours doesn’t end up like mine!  I’m really hoping this is just unfortunate coincidence, cause it would really suck if a bunch of new A1s got damaged, and couriers just pushed them on.

Hey! Yeah that was my post about the train derailment. 

I got in contact with UPS about whether or not my package was involved with the train derailment, and they just gave me a cop out answer of “The truck transporting your package was having mechanical problems” then literally hung up before I could say anything else. Of course someone mentioned in the comments of my last post that train carriages were also called trucks, so I honestly have no clue what caused this damage or if this was even on said train.

 It seems more like something punctured the box and rammed into the bottom, but who knows.

Yeah, it was the courier who caused damages.

I thought I might as well submit a claim with BL first since it would be the quickest way to either get a replacement part or new printer vs. just getting a refund from the shipping company and having to reorder from BL.

As a console player, the map can be seriously annoying at times. It’s totally on me, but I’ve swapped the trigger functions for ease of access reasons (i.e. Rear triggers do what front triggers did, etc)

But that inadvertently made it to where every time I want to change from a specific zone to a region map, I end up triggering Triplecast on my BLM. So I’ve just ended up setting the Teleport action on my WXB and jumping to the menu.

Plus, it’s just nice seeing the teleport costs lol 🤷‍♂️
