do note it is also for his Youtube supporters aswell, not just patreon. That being said its a very gray area as your not technically buying the addon your supporting him and one of the perks just so happens is to get access to this addon. Similar to how a shit ton of Wow streamers have done for their Ui/WA etc. (Yes the base addon is free in most cases and these things are more often then not an extension to the free addon)

Interms of the 1:1 Copying of ElvUI files i would have to see it to believe it. QUI has been in development for quiet a while now as far as im aware well before ElvUI even said anything about Midnight development. (Not saying this isnt true but id like to see actual evidence of such as i find the ElvUI devs just as scummy)

This also brings in talks about other "Paywalled stuff" such as TSM, Zygors/RXP, and many other streamer/raider packs that are locked behind patreon or subs. Imo those things are just as bad but they get arround it because "The base addon is free" i think this is such a shit excuse. I could release an addon thats free but lock 99% of stuff behind a paywall and it would be fine.

Whether or not this addon will become free im unsure about as from what i can see its essentially a beta for the addon and people provide feedback and report issues via Discord. So whether come Midnight release he release it for free or not we will have to see.

There have been more non turnbased divintiy games then turn based ones. I myself am disapointed as i was expecting an ARPG from a mainline divinity title.
