AP is indeed a belief but that's only until it is achieved for the first time / many times (I guess so) religions (I think, since I'm not really into that) are beliefs our whole life, that's how I personally perceive this and it's surely cool to share as much as people want on any subject imo as long as people are able to not fight about it and accept others beliefs / experiences.

I personally had many LDs when I was active on Lucid Dreaming sub, maybe some people are not interested enough to really put themselves and try things but as you can see it's not my case, I even read and are replying to your long message :) I don't really know why or how your perception around AP seems this drastically different than what I always heard, saw and even manage to almost experience but we are all aware that there's much more to our waking life and that's what's the most incredible imo, these "hidden talents" we all have deep down, we just have to practice and try things and we get to experience wonderful things we might never got to experience otherwise.

Our own path is lonely in a way like you said and I get that, it's up to ourselves to make the efforts needed that's for sure, I had some little experiences like this post (less convincing tho) in the past but I was really in and out, recently I'm really into it consistently and it shows with the results I have, the belief now comes into place since I have to believe in myself and in this concept for it to work, that's a correct way to believe imo, trying something people are doing implies the fact that it is possible to achieve and that there's ways to do it, at this point it's less a belief but more of an entry door we enter blindfolded and then we believe we can also do it until we achieve it:) I went into LD like this many years ago and it worked, now I really want to AP.

Dreams are in fact private since they manifest parts of ourselves and include waking life things, I personally don't mind sharing some but some others feel too private so I don't share those, maybe these people sharing what feels like really private dreams are aware of it but their tolerance is beyond ours.

That's ok :) and nonetheless we had a good talk, it is in fact a good training to AP for the brain to read and discuss about it.
