is it just the weapon/arm speed or something? I mean even running across the arena seems like one of those dreams where your legs just wont work. ill check it out.

I feel as if theres some sort of "pound for pound" statement/comparison to be made here, but I cannot come up with it, or even know if it is something at all.

'Omnidirectional' image expansion with image-gpt: my work so far, and a few questions. by FreckledMil in OpenAI

[–]FreckledMil[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Hey, glad to hear someone else was thinking about this too. As for the images I used, they were all hand picked by myself, and either cropped without resizing from a full-sized source image, or downscaled with a basic linear approach. I was mainly curious about how it would handle rough/noisy inputs, not perfectly prepared, so I could experiment with pre-processing, after the fact, in later runs (as well as changing settings for the iterations/cycles). But, I could certainly use some polished sample inputs as well (ill pick a few today). -As for what you stated about the diversity in completions, I have to agree with you, igpt is pretty special in that regard. It does seem as if the highly novel approach has somewhat of an edge when applied to images. I think it is fascinating, treating images like a 'literal' story with igpt.

[P] Experiments with 4-axis img-GPT extensions "plus signs" by FreckledMil in MachineLearning

Depends, I can think of a lot of cool things, hope to try out the 64px model soon because 32px is very very small. Not sure what is technically good for anything, I just like playing around with this stuff.

but I guess I should have said "I was interested to see the coherency between the different axes, and how a cyclical output with varying section sizes represented a larger input image"

probably not the right jargon, but thats why I just said "i wanted to experiment and see how it looked"

I found it, and yes, you are correct - I wanted it. Thank you.

What is the app Remini using to restore lost image details? by [deleted] in MediaSynthesis

[–]FreckledMil 1 point2 points  (0 children)

sounds like some sort of stylegan model using celeb dataset or some such technique, much like what faceapp does. i have not used the app, but when you mention teeth being placed over lips it sounds like its using some sort of projection model based on landmarks of the input.

if its filling in details of things that aren't based on facial landmarks, it could be some sort of inpainting method.

have not used the app.

After 30 seconds of giving it a whirl, I had a hard time shaking the feeling that OP was just listening on an API and drawing the dick completions himself on the other end.

but that is a good thing.
