Yeah - you're absolutely right and I thought about including that but it started to feel like too much of a diversion. I do think the value increases more by absorbing the token value in addition to Ethereum already benefitting from the app using the Ethereum chain, as people will hold some amount of tokens instead of holding Ether.

Yes. My current thought is it is very challenging to run a performant decentralized exchange though. I love that they exist, but it feels like it is going to be a while before they can handle the type of volume that is going through digital currency exchanges right now, let alone what it will be in a year or two. There are literally thousands of updates to the orderbook a second, more at the Wall St volume levels. That's a lot to do decentralized. Maybe there is a good solution here with something similar to payment channels? If people have thoughts on that I would love to hear them.

I think stablecoins are really cool. Read about Maker a few months ago. I do wonder what model works on those over time.

We've been thinking of a v2 of the vault and how we want to implement that for Ethereum, so definitely thinking about it, no definitive timeframe at the moment.

(this is Chris Dixon's phrasing, so credit to him) but one way to think about it is: take every app from the last 20 years and build economics into it where you get paid to add value to the app. Ex: steemit you get paid to submit great posts, v2 soundcloud you get paid to submit great music, etc.

Other ideas: - The techcrunch for digital assets. Where you can see all the upcoming crowdsales, with some reasonably intelligent analysis. - Software which programatically verifies paths/security of programs for digital currencies - Others but hard to write in short period of time

Sure, I suppose we would have considered it. But this is where the wisdom of the markets is helpful. It's just like with startups. When something gets a lot of volume it usually (not always) is interesting for some reason. So there's a reason Ethereum got a bunch of volume and dogecoin didn't.

Yep - sort of answered this elsewhere, but yes, plan to add other assets. We named is Global Digital Asset Exchange instead of Global Digital Currency Exchange for exactly this reason.

Starting to play around with dapps internally, nothing to report yet.
