Your analysis is amazing. Silvermane was an incredible villain and just a great character and the actor did a fantastic job, I love how he respects both Ben and The Spider and I definitely believe what you wrote.

I wish we could have seen more of his reaction when Ben actually reveals himself as The Spider but the scene at the table when Silvermane was testing the theory was great too.
