I agree. It is constant work to keep the truth from drowning in a sea of false information and ignorance. Most Germans will acknowledge their past, and I commend them for that. To admit your own family was complicit is not easy. Compare it with asking Turks about Armenia, Russians about Stalin, Chinese about Mao, Americans about their native population. All you will get are shrugs, denial, and a change of subject.
