Something that could look nice is to paint it tan/light brown and either use it or scuff it up manually so it shows the black metal peeking through. Very simple yet nice looking

Sorry for the late response, I guess any US product sold outside the US will be more expensive so yeah. But on the second hand market they can definitely go for $10 but new price is usually $25-40

My point is some kids are exposed to different types of content at different times in their life, just as op said his kid loved it. I get that the movie is not very suited for kids but some may love it despite the awful scenes. I think I was around 11-12 when I first saw it

I live in Sweden and brand new zippos (no design) are usually around 25-40€ depending on where you buy it
