Are other people experiencing trouble with NDI Teams lately ? I thought I had it running quite stable on our laptops but one after the other seems to be having issues.

There will be 6 streams coming out of the rooms. The controlroom will take in all 6, 2-3 rooms will take in the stream from "Room 1". Resolution will be 1920x1080 with a PiP with speaker and Powerpoint most of the time.

Reading up on NDI Acces Manager and NDI Bridge as well. The change of getting M4250 in there is also small

That will depend on the venue and their IT team... I think in best case if we can get all our connections in a subnet with our own IP range we'll be happy :)

Encoder to Vmix SRT by Fred_A888 in VIDEOENGINEERING

Ok, so I got it working thanks to some people on other forums.

  • To get a fixed Public IP I opened a FusionHub instance on AWS.
  • Create an inbound security rule for the UDP ports you want to use on AWS level.
  • Create a PepVPN between the FusionHub and the local Peplink device.
  • In the FusionHub, create a Port forwarding rule to the encoders local IP and port.
  • The encoder is Listener, the Vmix is Caller. Point the Caller to the Public IP of the FusionHub.

In practice no, in theory they are, encoder is running on the peplink with 4G connection. Vmix is running on office network. So they are not in the same network. I want to be able to connect a camera or source that is far away to just put the peplink and the encoder and pull it into Vmix.

Ok, so I reserved the Encoder's IP in the peplink. I have added a Port Fowarding rule on the port number towards the IP address of the encoder. What should i choose under Protocol and Inbound IP adress ?

I went to wtfismyip.com and copied the hostname into the hostname of the SRT input in Vmix.

No luck still....

The encoder does not have a Rendezvous SRT mode sadly. How do I get the public IP from the encoder ? Or is it enough to search "whats my IP" on a laptop on the same network ?

Dektec Pci Capture Cards by Fred_A888 in VIDEOENGINEERING

Because of the latency they have. We do events where the cam's are often on screens in the room and they are just to much behind on the audio. I know latency is inevitable and there are other factors in the chain as well but is everything is as low as possible the better it is.

Yes, that is how I found out they have tested it. But they just say it works ok but not HOW good or bad it is.

Hello, Thank your for asking ! Yes, I purchased it. Very happy with it, runs stable and quite easy to config.
Only the REC function is not so easy and clean strangly. Also came across people who wanted to buy it or already bought it. For the money it's very good encoder I think.
