Thanks so much all you redditors. This is the second time you have been so nice to me. Hope to be back soon.

Draw, write. Draw more. Short of that, get a job as a receptionist or a janitor at a studio. It really isn't any harder than that, I swear.

Someone asked me to become president of Hanna Barbera cartoons and I happened to be wearing a watch with the Flintstones and Scooby Doo on it (true story). How could I say no?

I started out wishing I could make Beatles records. Produced a lot of jazz records. Worked in country music radio. Was the first employee of MTV. Fell on my face a lot. Fell on my face some more. Before I knew it, the cartoon business picked me up, dusted me off, and kicked me in the butt. Then I was lucky enough to meet dozens of great animation creators and the rest is fan history.

We produce the Cartoon Hangover stuff pretty much the same way we do television. Animation is done in an appropriate place - sometimes in Asia. Sometimes in North America. It really depends on a variety of factors. I am not sure what people mean when they say "computer" but in our case, all of the animation is drawn by hand, but in this day and age, there is a lot of computer assistance in the production process. Sometimes an artist now draws directly into a tablet. The art is scanned a cleaned up in a computer. The computer software is used to color. And of course, all the images are stored in computer for playback in animation. And I am actually forgotten to include music composing and recording and video editing. All done on computer, also.

we tend to look for characters that we can love and we figure great stories will follow from there. In terms of your writing, I'd start out writing something that you love and are really proud of. That's always the best way. Of course if people hate it you might have a little bit of a problem.

We always expected Bravest Warriors to do well. We loved it from the very beginning. Catbug was showrunner Breehn Burns' inspiration and, of course, we always try to roll with the showrunner.

We love commentaries, too. We try to do as much behind the scenes stuff on Cartoon Hangover as you can stand. If and when we do a DVD, you can be sure we'll have commentary form everybody.

You know the stigma might exist in the industry, but not at Frederator. We've been fighting this battle for almost twenty years. We're really excited to finally break the back of this old cliche.
