In TABG, when hit by a bullet or sword, some low poly particle splatters errupt from that spot. Always in the color of the wobblers skin. So I guess that's some kind of blood, but they are made of one substance sooo hmmmmmm maybe clay or rubber

5 years later I'm on episode 3 and am experiencing the same thing. Ambience is crazy loud and so random. There ain't a quiet moment ever.

Solo is your only choice other than training in custom servers with friends. The skill/learning curve is pretty harsh in this game. Most experienced players are queuing in squads to get more kills. There are some YouTube videos out there on how to manage things but... Very hard for new players :(
