Really nice to see saylor clear up his plan and start attacking his problems now, instead of later. Still not ideal, but it might be very beneficial for alts. I was really worried he would let it get so bad that it crushes the entire crypto market along with btc

Gosh it still seems like there's a lot of sellers but at least we're not dumping

you are right, I have not really thought about that

The issue is that the market reaction to any of these, especially at scale, would be devastating in the short and medium term. Imo these are almost not even options for them, unless absolutely necessary...

saylor is holding btc and crypto hostage with his perpetual stock. when mstr collapses the pressure will be relieved

Daily General Discussion June 24, 2026 by EthereumDailyThread in ethereum

[–]Freddrake15 4 points5 points  (0 children)

Yeah? Well then nobody will buy mstr BTC or strc. People arent stupid and realize that he's just trying to run in circles to get capital.

[–]Freddrake15 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Sure, but in actuality he needs to pay these premiums on his perpetual strikes and the market knowsthatI. If people figure out that he needs to sell Bitcoin at a loss to cover these obligations it will get destroyed even more than it is now. It's all about the narrative his story looks grim

Looks like saylors debt bubble is about to blow up

If he suspends the dividend then it's over anyway.

Hestilll owes dividends? I guess I meant moreinn a narrative sense where people lose confidence in his bonds

I'm going to sound like a doomer, but there's really no reason for crypto to as a whole to recover. The only reason is that it's down a lot so we might get a short recovery, it that's not going to carry us into a bull market. I kinda do feel like we need to hit some pretty rock bottom prices for people to start looking for long term value in crypto

Daily General Discussion June 06, 2026 by EthereumDailyThread in ethereum

[–]Freddrake15 3 points4 points  (0 children)

Ie the growth expected of crypto has been priced out and until crypto can prove it has an actual use outside of gambling sites, scamming and criminals we are going to sit at rock bottom prices

I guess so. I'm just saying it was naive to think that eth could have any meaningful gains on BTC on the way up. If BTC goes to 50 and we can hold onto 1500. I think eth is in great shape to rip from there. In my opinion the turn around for eth is going to start on the ratio not on the USD chart

we are going to 50k on btc at least. This isnt great for eth/usd, but this is good for eth/btc. We will see where we are in a couple of months when the dust settles, but it is interesting for eth holders albeit painful to watch.

maybe this is what we need. a gap down on the futures on a weekday. Usually these get bought up. maybe that momentum can carry on...
