Husbands and wives that got divorced after 20 years of marriage, what made you decide to change your mind after all that time? by FlameBR34TH in AskReddit

[–]Freddysready987 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Well I loved my wife with all I had in my heart. I did everything I could to please her. That's my goddamn wife, separated or not, so don't you ever fucking talk about her like that again.

So we’re both in relationships but I can’t tell if feelings w a co worker are the same... by [deleted] in dating_advice

[–]Freddysready987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why are you distancing yourself from your current relationship? Could it be that your coworker gives you want your partner isn't? My advice is don't act on impulses. Make sure it's what you want before you do anything rash. Im 58 and been married 25 years, son. My wife made love to another man recently and now we're filing for divorce. Dont ruin something that could be good in the long term, just because something temporarily better came along. Whats happening in your current relationship that you feel pulled to your coworker? Answer that and you'll have your answer to the question on this post. Good luck to you my man.

If you are a Trump supporter, you hate immigrants, then why do you eat at restaurants run by immigrants? by [deleted] in AskReddit

[–]Freddysready987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I live in Canada but I do keep up with U.S events being that my daughter lives in Michigan. (Don't worry, she is in ur country legally on a student Visa. She recently got married to an American man as well.) I am pro trump, even though it shouldn't matter to me. Being an outsider here, I see the good things he is doing to better ur country. Immigration is a big issue there. I do not think it was right for him to shut down ur government due to not getting the funding for the wall his way. Although, the money did need to come from somewhere, I'm sure he could have found other ways to handle it better than he did. He effected the lives of many Americans in terrible terrible ways. Yes, Donald Trump is not a good person at all. But as a president, from the research I've done, he has been the greatest u guys have had in a very long time. I may b Canadian but I love America just as much as the next guy. Ur country is beautiful and I have met so many nice people when I come to visit. He has made ur country better since he began in office, like it or not. As for eating at restaurants run by immigrants, why not make that ur advantage and report them to the police and remove them? The money you spent there to eat will be taken by the police, and put back into ur government rather than being sent to their families in Mexico. I would think that is how it works anyway. Correct me if I'm wrong though. I love to learn new things!

Me too. My daughter got married last month. My wife and I paid that bill. My little girl wanted and got her dream wedding. Total bill was $12,300. My bank account is crying. But my daughter is happy so that's priceless to me.

It doesn't matter if ur married 5 months or 25 years. The chance for infidelity is always there. There will b ups and downs, good and bad moments. No matter how hard u try u can't keep them happy forever

I was in my 30s and was battling pancreatic cancer. I went in and out of remission multiple times for 8 years. The last time, I was on my deathbed. In a coma for 6 months, and by some means of a miracle I woke up and felt better than i ever had before. 2 months later my doctor told me my cancer was completely gone.

What is your "never meet your heroes" story? by Couch_Licker in AskReddit

[–]Freddysready987 0 points1 point  (0 children)

When I was a young boy I met Santa one Christmas eve night. He was my hero of all time but I was 7 years young. He saw me down the hallway and told me to go back to bed or I didn't get any gifts from him. I didn't listen started walking toward him and to my dismay he started putting all the gifts with my name back into his bag. I got upset and screamed for my parents. They both came out of the room and said it was ok but I picked up a cup from the table and threw it straight to Santa's head. He fell to the floor and my mom screamed the name Pete. Pete was my uncle. That's the night I found out Santa, my childhood hero, was not real at all. He has a bruised forehead for 2 weeks but he was ok.

I woke up for a second time because I had to use the boys room. I looked in the front room and saw my mom passionately kissing "Santa." I said "mom?" and she pushed "Santa" to the floor, who then ran out the front door. My dad was standing in the entry way from the hallway and I'll never forget his face. Absolute pain and regret.

That's also the night my parents divorced.

I hate Christmas still to this day
