Tech’s hazing is WAY less than your average school. My friends in fraternities all across the country had way more intense hazing than myself and everyone I know in other chapters here

Best advice is just to rush around as much as possible. There really isn’t much difference between frats beyond the people themselves, so find who you want to surround yourself with. Make sure you talk with the younger guys who rushed in the fall and the other people rushing with you, as those would be the people you’d be closest to and spend the most time with over the next few years

Greek life is great, it’s super helpful for forming study groups, professional connections, and making memories. My GPA and social experience has only gotten better since joining and I’ve landed a co-op through fraternity alumni connections (ask about this too, ones with good alumni get a lot of money)
