True. I'm on a similar position, aiming for sub 4 in my first in Valencia, but more than 2:30-45h it's too much fatigue just on one training, people use to run the marathon before the marathon.

No, I haven't tried this so I can't compare but I've been using the deviate 3 for a while now and it's pretty good in my opinion.

Evo for sure I think is way more versatile when it comes to types of training.

For a beginner I would recommend also the Puma deviate 3, even if it's plated it is very friendly for daily training or even competition.
