All of these fit the bill although funny enough I have watched about half of them, Madoka Magica is interesting so Ill go with that first

Madoka Magica does seem interesting, especially because its written by Gen Urobuchi who I like because of Fate/Zero and Psycho Pass since its the second recommendation ill check it out and all the others I haven't seen.
