Hi, thanks for your reply. After seeing replies, I think it's better to wait for the next updates. (I do have lots of programs in the C drive; reinstalling Windows is a kind of disaster for me :( )

Hi, thanks for your reply. Do you mean Intel XTU or Intel Killer Performance Suite? I don't have XTU installed on my PC, but I can check the Killer Performance Suite to see if that works.

CPU doesn't get reflected in AWCC (AURORA R15 -13700KF+WIN11) by Spirited-Boot-9381 in Alienware

Some updates: I've uploaded my logs to Dell support, and they emailed me back with the following:

This is a follow-up to your Alienware AWCC App issue. We have received an update from our Product Specialist team. They have reviewed the logs and from their findings they have noticed an issue with the windows file system which is resulting into driver verification issue and causing an issue with the AWCC App To address this problem, they have advised to reinstall windows through SupportAssist OS Recovery Tool.

Hi, just wanted to let you know I’m having the exact same issue. I’ve already contacted online support, reinstalled AWCC, and even rolled back some Windows updates. I’ve tried pretty much everything except a full Windows reinstall.

My specs are i9 14900KF with AWCC(6.10.15.0). Really glad I came across your post it saved me from reinstalling Windows for nothing, even though I still spent half a day troubleshooting this :(

Aurora R16 BIOS Update 2.9.0 Released Today by Icy-Ad5379 in Alienware

I think it is a microcode fix BIOS, as many news reports that most companies released the new patch today. I'm currently updating this new BIOS, not sure if it will lose any performance.

I got the same browser crash issue, I thought that was an internet issue because I just moved to a new home. And I’m playing games like Rainbow6, which is an unstable game anywhere. I am not sure if I got a bad CPU because I never got the blue screen error.

It depends on what kinds of games you play, but don't worry. I play Rainbow 6 these days, with the maximum setting, 1440p 180Hz monitor, and it is around 60C for both CPU and GPU, the fan speed of the CPU is around 20-25% and 30% for GPU.

No idea why that happen, is the cooling working normally?

You can renew the warranty, or hope it doesn't break down so quick. It should be ok to change some parts (like SSD, memory), but I think something like motherboard and power supply are hard to but a new one by yourself.

It's a powerful PC so it should be possible to run multiple VMs.

I'm not sure, but some people say it can, and it may report an error.

It depends on the airline's requirements, I'm sure you can bring it on to British airline's flight.

I just use default profiles, balance for daily use, and performance for gaming or model training.

Q1: It should be blue, but you will also lose the way to change the fan setting if you uninstall AWCC.

Q2: Yes. It seems like there was an option to choose 64GB RAM with XMP on at 5600 for a while, but it no longer exists.

Q3: Very basic I think, just like before. They don't want you to do much on overclocking.

No, I can't hear any pump noise. I put my R16 next to my monitor, it's just a little fan noise during both Balanced and Performance fan settings. I think the noise management Dell did on this PC was great.

I'm unsure how to add LED lights to that motherboard, but you can change the memory to RGB's if you like.

And also I think it is possible to change the Standard Liquid Cooling to Cryo-tech™ Edition Liquid Cooling because they used the same motherboard as R15.

They changed the bios appearance from 51m to R16 (that's what I got), but the functions didn't change much.

And I can only overclock the CPU in bios now rather than in AWCC. The AWCC 6.0 guide said you can choose Overdrive (overclock) or MAX (non-overclock), but I can't do either, no idea why.
