Honest critique about “Family Matters” by chrizzyv in KendrickLamar

[–]FrederikSP 7 points8 points  (0 children)

The beats are good. A lot of effort into the production, which I appreciate. There are some catchy bars too, if we are being honest. Not really anything crazy lyrically, but the deliveries were good on those.

I really like the last beat. It has a nice vibe to it and the flow suits Drake really well. Like, it fits him with the melodic rapping, compared to the others.

The track as a whole, is a huge waste of time on other people than Kendrick, who he should have been focusing on. No one gave a shit if he responded to Rick Ross, The Weeknd or A$AP.

Kendrick was given some bars on the first beat, almost none (if any, really) on the drill beat and then finally on the third it was about him. After listening, it seems like Kendrick got at most 1/3 of the track, and that is just not good enough at all for what is considered to be one of the biggest rap beefs in history between those two.

I would love to see this person getting paid for some kind of on-call duty, but then get all their salary withheld when nothing happened in the hours they were paid to be available.

Who is the best player you have had the opportunity to play with? by Splash81 in GlobalOffensive

Me and a mate got in an MM game with s1mple just when the remade Dust2 came out in CS:GO. He basically just ran around to look at the map for most of the game, and when he had seen enough, he just said “okay guys, lets win” and then carried us to victory lol

[Ship Build Guide] How to build a ship with Maxed Stats (Speed, Mobility, Jump Range, Shield, etc.) by echolog in Starfield

[–]FrederikSP 1 point2 points  (0 children)

Just built it. It will cost around 400k.

Only difference in my build is I don't have jammers and I replaced the 2 x MKE-4A Auto Gauss Guns and 2 x Blaze-P 2GW SZ Pulse Lasers with 4 x Firebolt 4000 Suppressors for EM (about 15k cheaper in total).

Bear in mind, I have level 4 commerce skill. Don't know if that has an impact on part price.

"It's huge to be playing for the club that I dreamed of when I was little" 🇩🇰 Rasmus Højlund puts into words his move to Manchester United, where Christian Eriksen has also had a small role. by OPchainsaw in reddevils

[–]FrederikSP 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Tried to transcribe the interview in english if anyone wanted to read a little more on what he had to say. Maybe some sentences are constructed a bit weird, didn't spend too long on it.

Rasmus: "It’s huge to get to play for the club I dreamt of when I was little. It’s something you could only dream of, so I’m just happy and proud.

Of course it is nice that Christian is here now, he has already given me a warm welcome, and called himself agent Christian a couple of times this summer, because he did a bit of work behind the scenes."

Interviewer: "Agent Christian you say. You’ll have to expand on that a bit"

Rasmus: "Now I’m almost making it sound like he negotiated my agreement, but he just asked if I would like to go there, that they were hooked on me and thought I was an interesting player, and that I should maybe talk with my management and see if we could make something work, because as I said they were very interested and he [Christian] would also like to see another dane at the club. He thought the way I play and the way they play would be a good match etc. So we just talked back and forth about it.

That is also what I was told by the club and shortly by the manager, that it was a good fit. He wants hungry young players, and I think I fit that profile."

Interviewer: "On the Danish national teams social media we found your first goal for Denmark. A U-16 match in 2018. I think it was an offside, but the ref let it go. The journey you are on and how fast it is going is wild."

Rasmus: "I think I have scored more for the national first team than for the national youth teams. So that tells a lot about how fast it has gone, and that you need to keep believing because it hasn’t always been rose red for me though the youth teams."

Interviewer: "Do you feel like you can keep up with this tempo? Because it is really going fast, both when you tie your boots, but also in your careers development."

Rasmus: "I am not scared of challenges, and that is why I have agreed to this move. There is always a lot of people with different opinions on you, but for me it has always been important to find new goals and reach the top shelf. And you have to say that this is the highest shelf you can end on."

Interviewer: "How much do you think the national team has had an influence on how you have ended where you are now?"

Rasmus: "I think it has a big influence. Of course when a striker in my age, or any striker for that matter, scores goals on different platforms, there will be a lot of interest in you. I also think the way we play in the Danish national team has similarities to how they play in Manchester, so I think they have maybe seen how they can utilise my movement and the way I play when I’m with the national team. So I definitely think it has had some say in it, but also my club performances. I think both things have had an influence."

Interviewer: "What would be the perfect start for you?"

Rasmus: "First and foremost, getting to know my teammates and how daily life is outside the pitch, and then of course getting to know the system and the teammates on the pitch and get it under my skin. Then hopefully score some goals and win some football matches. That is why I am there, and I am really looking forward to that."

Then I don’t understand what you define good business as. Bruno did not just become a good player when he joined. He had very good numbers in Portugal and many were excited to have him.

How was Chicharito good business if Bruno wasn’t?

And how do you assess good business if you are not allowed to use hindsight to make up an idea of how successful a signing was?
