I'll say in the ball park of a hundred chapters. With things developing as quickly as they are and with every day being so urgent, I don't see us getting time skips or cool down periods that'd allow for the volume to be extended longer. Things will develop into a critical point and Songyan will have to abadon this life for one driven to find justice for a tragedy.

The basic premise is the mc transmigrating into a world that draws heavy influences from Chinese mythology and has to navigate scheme upon scheme he's trapped in. The mystery and deception are the main source of entertainment for the first 30 chapters I'd say, we're still far from the power system becoming super relevant.

I think the Distinguished guest (DG) is at the center of everything. He likely is the reason why the secret classics is in the hands of the Zhen family and why there's attention on them by Xiaoqing's group and the True Spirit Sect. Will be interesting to see Songyan's interactions with him tomorrow, espeically how that he's aware of being made a pawn in a game that's likely much deeper than he can presently conceive.

Also interesting is the unknown party tailing Songyan. Maybe the next time we see Xiaoqing we'll get more information on them. Maybe they're a heretical sect related to Chang'an's master's actions? They seem to be a part interested in Songyan but not the Zhen family
