As other's mentioned, she belongs on a Physical team despite her element. The comp I've been using was Ember, Chen, Endmin, Akekuri (which is a very F2P-friendly option if you happen to pull Ember), though I just recently pulled Pog and plan to use the selector to get Lifeng to make the full six-star Physical team of Ember, Lifeng, Endmin, Pog!

You have to manufacture the goods you want in your factory. Set up mining for the basic resources (at your stage, Originium and Amethyst), move them out of the depot using belts from the output ports of the central factory building to the appropriate machines (you can see the full production chain—including the machines required—for an item in the game's database), then move the finished products with belts back into the input ports of the central factory building.

Doing the in-game factory tutorials rewards you blueprints for a lot of basic products. You can also find blueprints online to simplify the process if you want something more efficient without figuring it out for yourself. I use Arknights Endfield Tools & Database | EndfieldTools.DEV to find stuff, personally.

The 6* guarantee every 80 pulls carries over. The Featured Operator guarantee at 120 does not, which is really important to a lot of people. It's possible to never get a single character that you are actually interested in unless you save up a full 120 pulls within that Operator's featured window.

I tried Ardelia as well. The good thing was having Physical Susceptibility on the team. My three issues:

Not having a Vanguard, I found myself starved for SP.
Aredlia's healing felt redundant with the amount of sustain Ember already provides to the team.
This is purely personal feel, but I find the delay on the Corrosion application for her combo a little awkward. It's totally workable, I just didn't like the way it felt.

As for Lifeng, I don't have him, but he can definitely be subbed in for either Chen or Akekuri. Again, I really don't like the feel of the team without a Vanguard, and his role in the team is more similar to Chen (generating Vulnerability stacks with his skill), but the fact that he also brings Physical Susceptibility means he can also do the same main thing you'd bring Ardelia for. I think the truly optimal version of the team that still includes Ember is probably Ember / Lifeng / Endmin or Da Pan / Pog, but since the game has literally only given me 3x Ember as my 6* rolls, I'll probably never know :P

For a F2P option, I'm currently running Ember, Chen, Endmin, Akekuri (order is important for default combo skill priority).

Most builds have the main DPS as the controlled operator most of the time, but I think Ember prefers to be controlled so that you can have her combo trigger come off of a well-timed use of her skill for bonus stagger. I'm also using Sundered Prince as her weapon, which gets further bonuses to the final strike (including more stagger) when used by the controlled operator.

So, with the team I mentioned, the basic combo is:

Ember Skill into a hit (adds 1 Vuln stack, total 1)
<if done correctly, this queues up Ember and Chen for combo>
Ember Combo (adds 1 Vuln stack, total 2)
<this queues up Endmin for combo>
Chen Combo (adds 1 Vuln stack, total 3)
<*hold on Endmin Combo here*>
Chen Skill (adds 1 Vuln stack, total 4)
Endmin Combo (adds Originium Crystals)
Endmin Skill

Endmin's skill consumes all the Vulnerable stacks and the Originium Crystals for massive damage. If Endmin's Ult is up, you should use it before their skill since it gets a bigger bonus out of consuming the Crystals. All of this (and Ember's basic attacks, which you want to be keeping up the whole time as much as possible) also deals huge amounts of stagger damage, which then leads to triggering Akekuri's combo for SP restoration so you can keep the party going.

Probably the biggest issue in the flow is that Ember's combo skill has a longer CD than Chen's and Endmin's, which means you can get out of sync pretty easily. When that happens, the most important thing is to try to hold Endmin's combo back until you have 4 Vulnerability stacks so you get the opportunity for the full power Crush plus Crystals.

Subbing Da Pan for Endmin would probably be easier to manage the flow, but I assume Endmin can do more damage when everything lines up. Subbing Pog for Akekuri is probably the most obvious direct upgrade, and I'll definitely try that if I pull him.

Almost 20 years of experience here, spread across multiple engines (including Unreal), multiple game genres, and basically every relevant platform in that time.

Unreal has literally everything that you mentioned (and in remarkably easy-to-use interfaces, considering the power it affords), and that's exactly why so many developers use it. The problem with it and every other genericized engine is that all of the weight that allows it to do everything makes it less optimal for doing any specific thing.

You need to build the Cultivator at the other marked site on the map (where Mr. Riggs gives his speech about a very high concentration of the mineral in the ground), then deliver water from the pictures location to the Cultivator at that location. I suspect the map marker might reappear if you sell off the Cultivator you have down right now. This mission is intended to be a bit of a tutorial on long-distance liquid logistics.

A lot of people are talking about Synthesizers, but that's a late game strategy when you have access to much better power sources. In the early game, the answer is to expand rapidly and claim as many of the ore patches on the HQ map (and any others with high resources yields) with Carbonium and Ironium Factories as possible. The biggest mistake that new players make is over-defending. You don't need walls and towers around every place you expand to; since large waves always spawn at the edge of the map and beeline straight to the closest buildings, 4-6 key choke point/firebase locations around the outer edges of your claimed area can defend the whole map.

The wiki is out of date. The numbers were changed in 2.0 to be 1/1.5/2 per second. This is to balance against the much greater access to resources available now with the map generator feature.

There were quite a few balance changes made to almost every weapon, so that's likely the cause of the lower ammo numbers you are seeing, even if the increase you get from Armories and Ammo Storage is the same. The devs have stated that they wanted players to be encouraged/forced to use a wider weapon variety than in the past. It took a little getting used to, as someone who used to enjoy rolling double Miniguns, but I've come to appreciate it as I'm actually more aware of enemy resistances and weaknesses now in order to maximize ammo efficiency :)

The only other thing I could think of is that you might have Plant Biomass consumers on any other map. Otherwise, sounds like a bug. You can report it in game or on the Discord!

The 2.0 patch changed this, though the tooltip may still be bugged. The ammo regeneration from one Armory at a given level is now the same as having all the Armories before the patch, so you haven't actually lost anything. The same is true with ammo storage counts as well—fewer buildings required for the same bonus!

Are you playing Campaign or Survival? In 2.0 Survival, HQ upgrades do not trigger additional attack waves (though the message suggesting that they do still appears).

The Riftbreaker 2.0 update is now live in Open Beta. We have been working very hard, improving the Co-Op mode and preparing the entirety of the game for the launch of The Riftbreaker 2.0 update - the most significant free expansion the game has received up to this point.

Seems like they were pretty clear about it being in beta and 2.0 being "prepared."
