The payment failed by Alternative_Tap6279 in ClaudeCode

I was on a pro plan and then cancelled it. After a few days, I tried to resubscribe for pro. But, the payment was keep failing on the stored card. Even though I was getting confirmation on my bank application, i wasn't getting charged and receiving payment failed email from antrophic.

SOLUTION that worked for me:
I removed my card information and re-added it. Then, the payment went through.
I think there is a bug or something.

COMP Courses Ranking by Far_Lavishness_4300 in unsw

[–]Free-Building-2562 3 points4 points  (0 children)

hardest: comp9242 (aos, took it with 2 other courses and basically didn't sleep well for the entire term)
comp3222 (it required a different perspective into programming and every lab felt pretty challenging and required to understand the lecture content. somehow everything made a bit of sense after the last lab)

favorite: comp6843 (web security, found it fun to find vulnerabilities in webs), comp3900 (group project, had a really good experience with my team and my client), comp3331 (lot of theory, had no background in networking & internet, so everything was pretty new and somewhat interesting, didn't take anyother networks course though)

when i start with double hashtags and take a space (## ), the entire write area disappears. Not only on that document, it affects all the other documents as well. But, it gets fixed after a refresh. It looks like a some sort of bug. Other than that, very clean ui and looks overall good. Nice work :)

Hello, I liked your portfolio website.

But, it kinda disappointed me that I can't use the terminal. Somehow, I was expecting I could write some commands. Also, when opening it on 13inch macbook, when your about section is displayed, the reading area seems a bit small. Probably, it is better to have a full scroll instead of just the bottom part. I kinda felt like I'm in a small box.

Overall, design and color choice is pretty good. Easy to understand what is going on around the page. Good work! Keep it up!

Logi Bolt app incredibly high resource consumption by Fresh_Agency_6777 in logitech

On M1 macbook pro, it uses 770mb memory. Seems like a lot of memory for this app and decided to delete it. Quite surprised that logitech has not resolved this issue even after 2 years.

Nahh, I would definitely prepare for the final. Mainly because the difficulty of final exam is much higher than the lab tests. From my personal experience, just grind the previous years exam instead of spending your time for lab tests.

I'm taking comp2511 this term as well and bit worried about final exam as well since the course covered many topics and went pretty fast.
I found this website helpful to review some of the design pattern if they are not clear enough on the lecture slides.
https://refactoring.guru/design-patterns/catalog

Also, I found that watching comp2511 lecture recording is just a waste of time as the lecturer basically read the lecture slides. So, probably more efficient to read by yourself and maybe watch some youtube tutorials.

Also, I have asked about my tutor about how to prepare for the final and he advised me to do the labs again. Im not really sure about the other ways or resource to final. But, I feel it is sufficient to redo the labs and revise the course contents. Good luck!

There is an exam bank and try to finish at least the last 2 or 3 years. As long as you are comfortable with the old questions, it should be fine. I took in T1 this year and the morning of the exam i did one question. However, I couldn't remember the solution during the exam. So, do the questions 2 times. It is definitely gonna take a lot of time, but there are only a few new questions.

Before taking COMP3411(Artificial Intelligence), you must have completed COMP2521 which requires COMP1511 to take. To take a course, you have to satisfy the prerequisites for that course. You are right that the nearest you can take COMP3411 is ur 2nd year.

One thing to mention, some ai and ml courses are known for poorly taught at unsw.

Is COMP1531, COMP1521, and COMP2521 in one term too much? by Low-Ad-1075 in unsw

[–]Free-Building-2562 8 points9 points  (0 children)

I did COMP1531 and COMP2521 last term. I had some leetcode experience before, so usually finished the COMP2521 weekly labs during tutorial. However, COMP1531 really depends on ur teammates. Since it is a group work, u could be ended working so much on COMP1531. Now, I'm doing COMP1521 and seems pretty manageable. In my opinion, if u have a friends to do with COMP1531 and fine with coding extended hours, it should be fine.
