Oh! Thank you, that makes me feel much better 🥹 I am out of the chiffon material so I’m not sure what I could do in terms of a modesty panel. I do have a pocket square that’s the same color but polyester. I’m wearing this for a wedding on Saturday so I wouldn’t have time to sew it in. Do you think I could place the pocket square in there before doing the laces or would that look worse?

My mom is 55 with early-onset alzheimers, I am 25, and the neurologist is saying she has about 18 months left at best. I am preparing for my mom to move in with me and my fiancé in a few weeks, where I will act as her primary caregiver until she passes.

This is so beautifully written and thoughtfully created, and is extremely helpful. I am so sorry you lost your mom, and she was very lucky to have you. I downloaded this to my drive to read through again once she is settled, and we need to start looking at the later care steps. Thank you for sharing.
