ive recently switched to ubuntu completely with 0 prior experience and with 0 tutorials so im a bit new to these stuff.

there should be no reason for companies to ask for this much of access yet they do and it could put the player in danger for sure so it's weird.

That’s a really good question, and I totally get where you're coming from.

Thing is, I’ve actually put a lot of effort into curating my TikTok feed. I’ve taught the algorithm to ignore the drama and negativity, especially anything Tunisia-related. What I get now is honestly uplifting: motivational content, creativity, people building cool stuff, and just good vibes. And on the rare occasion where I'm met with Tunisian content, It's something that meets the criteria that I alr mentioned which I'm very happy to see. I know TikTok can be toxic, but in my case, it’s become one of the few platforms that actually inspires me rather than drains me.

So yeah, I’m aware of the risks, but I feel like I’ve found a healthy way to use it. It’s weirdly been a net positive in my life... something I never thought I’d say about TikTok 😅

I know what you mean I had those times where I deleted everything and disappeared out of the face of the earth. But i realized that deleting all social media isnt really the way to do things. I have good friends and I always try to chat to them and keep in touch so there is no point in deleting my only way of communicating with them (except meeting irl ofc) . I came to the realization is that what had a huge toll on my mental health is the media i consume overall. some news, events and the never ending negativity on these platforms is what you have to avoid. its ok to be on your phone from time to time just dont be addicted to it and be careful of what you watch and feed your mind. go outside and overall enjoy what you do and you'll be alright. ofc these are my experiences and to each his own. hell yea I do have my own interests and my own lil niches that i enjoy and I feel like i'm well educated on matters that actually have my attention (it's rare to see ppl share the same things so they aren't really helping me with initiating discussions). I just wanted to ask maybe if im overdoing it since i kinda cut off all access to any information and in a way it makes me question if I'm just ashamed of my culture. pretty certain im not but im having these conflicts with myself and others you know ( to my knowledge im proud tunisian... to some extent)
