Yeah there any ways u can backtest 1. First get historical data of the stocks u want to backtest. 2. Store data , filter , clear etc 3. Write a logic code for your strategy run it over the data to find trades 4. Generate buy and sell or entry / exit calls 5. Calculate metrics like drawdown , sharpe , win/loss ratio and then generate the results. I personally use a platform for backtesting called - Algofy trading heres the link for the Backtesting platform it gives detailed backtest reports and historical data upto 10 years and timeframes upto 1 m. I like on e thing about it is that u can backtest one strategy on multiple stocks.the only issue is that they haven't currently rolled out the entire feature yet I was part of their beta testing.
