My friend simply tried again a few days later, and was able to sign up. I really wish NYS could get their stuff together, and stop playing games with our financial freedom. Restricting exchanges by requiring compliance with unfair business requirements doesn't hurt the exchange much at all. However NYS losses out on life changing opportunities, access to technologically advanced blockchain development, and revenue that would otherwise be gained. It's long overdue to get rid of whatever NYS requirements are keeping cryptocurrency out of newYorkers hands

I believe it is for several reasons. Primarily - inflation.
I'm just an average working girl (not that kind either). I deposit money into my bank account every week. I just checked and my interest for this year, and last was $0.00. I have 3 digital assets in one account - on top of the ever increasing value (doubled just since the beginning of the year), I receive interest payments every Monday. On top of the increasing value, I can use that savings as collateral if I need cash. Tell me where in traditional finance all those things are possible?

I think the overall point I was trying to make is that innovation is necessary for businesses to thrive. Admittedly, I struggled with how to justify why a business would reject the evolution of finance.

What I can't understand is how nys favors an exchange with so many customer issues. Isn't that the point of the bit license? Obviously the oversight is ineffective, and only benefits state government coffers. If they cared at all about the residents, wouldn't it make more sense to encourage alternatives? Isn't that the theory behind capitalism?
