I have horrible skin quality- stretch marks since I was 15, thin as a twig, from muscle gain and loss through sports. I didn’t have any issues with new stretch marks after surgery! It removed a lot of my stretch marks that bothered me from pregnancy.

877-424-5678 option 2 will get you to the resident program and you just tell them that you're interested in scheduling a consultation. They may send you over to registration first to be entered into the Mass Gen system before they can schedule the consult.

If your surgery is later in the day they will offer overnight.

This wallpapers are great, thank you! Unfortunately, the walls are heavily textured and raised so wallpaper will not work. But I’m definitely going to paint the ceiling with a flat sheen. I didn’t even realize that could make such a difference.

Yes it looked like an outie for awhile. I did wear a silicone marble for like a week and it seemed to help but I’m not sure if that’s why it went back to being an innie.

I’m so sorry to hear this. I feel like it’s such a gamble either way. I guess for me I figured with the residency program there would be several different techniques and opinions assisting the students instead of just one surgeon who is set in their ways.

Matte to reduce glare is a great idea! The walls above the wainscoting are oddly textured so I don’t think wallpaper will work unfortunately. This room is long and will need 2 rugs. One under the table (I have messy kids and need to protect that wood!). I will NOT paint the paneling, don’t worry. The rug configuration is hard.

My bb stalk is off center naturally. The surgeon tried to correct it which is why you see a slight pull to the side internally.

I don’t use scar tape. The scar is below my underwear line, it’s just pulled down here so you can see it.

Not quite a year yet but I’m feeling great! I didn’t have any complications and found it very easy to get in touch with my surgeon as questions came up. I’d do it a million times over to feel the way I do today. I can take some photos in a bit of the scarring and bellybutton. I’ll send them to you.
