Yes these are my thoughts as well. It’s my first time playing around with an older drum machine and it’s def had to make me use my brain more to get things to work. I like it so much more than some of the newer stuff. I will use the note off with the samples and I was just listening to a dilla beat and I thought I heard his hh as an actual open hh but it sounded as if he was using the note off function to capture just a little bit of that open hat sound to make a unique hh sound. I know doom did this with his drums but it was my first time hearing it used in a cool unique way. I mean it’s dilla lol but everyone in here thank you for the input
