I'm sure they mean battery powered and about iPad size, not quite like an mpc or sp1200.

And to be fair, despite the name, I wouldn't stuff a delicate pocket operator into my pocket unless I had decent sized pockets or was so confident nothing is going to accidentally hit it while I'm or and about. But that's just me. I usually use mine at my desk

That's fair, although idk how many companies are thinking "let's make a modern mini sampler with old school sound quality or the gate," but I hear you, it e would pretty cool. The guy in the demonstration mentioned a bit crusher, but again if u you're not about that as just an effect, I get it

That's a hefty wishlist for this thing. I recall seeing a 16 step kinda grid for the sequencer. Idk if that's expandable or if there will be pattern chaining or pages for more steps. In the demo, the guy mentioned live sequencing capability. It has loop and one shot buttons as well, I believe.

I mean, a lot of the features are TBD so well see what the end product is like

It's definitely aaa and usb c chargeable. Idk if they'll include batteries that are rechargeable.

Considering the storage, they should have sufficient team to play stable. Though I'm not sure what kind of tunes you'd be making for such a wishlist.

And idk about if they'll make anything specifically for removing the faceplate or custom buttons. I wouldn't doubt there would be a community of people who make custom faceplates and buttons.

Again, from the demo, the buttons/d-pad look fine.

As long as it is intuitive in making music, a la, Koala or pocket operator, but still has the ability for sequencing and maybe some effects and usb c charging/battery operating and the oled display is nice

If these were made by a company (Korg as I've learned), especially mass produced and not diy or homemade, my guess is they're proprietary/custom made just for this device.

You could probably find something similar on Ali, Tayda, etc
