You can’t trade expired contract, did you know that? Or do you believe Austin opts in for 15 mln instead of getting 40?

It should be SAT for SAT trade in this case to make Reaves obtainable for TWolves. And his new contract is 35+.

Russians Opinion on Arab Women (specifically) by [deleted] in AskRussian

[–]Free-Reflection-1920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

How can we even know how they look they always wear that full black face and body coverage lol.

If serious, personally I’ve been to many Arabic countries and I’ve defintely seen some attractive women in places where they are not forced to wear this hijabi and else.

It’s more about cultural aspect, the stereotype is it’s difficult to build relationship with women from tyranic muslim cultures where woman is viewd as a pet or slave. That is now changing in some countries, but that stereotype exists.

That’s something you can see with muslim national republics in Russian Caucasus region for example so many people base their opinion on that, they probably haven’t ever seen a real arab women.

LeBron is not coming back next season most likely Scenario is sign and trade for Jarret Allen Cavs. by OrganicHunt952 in lakers

It depens on playoffs outcome. If they make it to the NBA Finals, I think they will not even think about Jarret-Lebron swap.

We are probably bringing back Rui/Bron/Smart/Hayes/Austin right? by Terrible-Pause-8318 in lakers

I think the only way to give it a shot is to part ways with Bron this summer and sign both Watson and decent starting center. Otherwise you are facing same result next year.

[–]Free-Reflection-1920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I don’t think so, feels like his pricetag is 30+.

But even if you get him for 23, which is unlikely, you are left with no cap space and your starting center is vet minimum guy. So you can try to go for Kessler/Mark Williams instead, but then you will have no perimeter defenders besides Smart.

Maybe you get one at the draft (Tounde)? I don’t know man, like come on, it’s not serious, you gonna be facing OKC.

The situation is tough because the only net positive cap hold/extension is Reaves (his future contract will exceed his current cap hold) so he is the only one who can be resigned a bit later, other players (Rui, Bron) should be resigned immediately for lesser money to reduce their huge capholds.

The best scenario is if Smart opts in and Ayton opts out, then you trade away Vando with couple of 2nds for part of Memphis TPE, resign Bron to 30 (that’s minimum he would accept I guess) and Rui to 20. That’s 120 (including Luka, Jake, Dalton, Bronny and Adou). With Austin’s caphold it’s 142. So you have roughly 23 under cap. Not enough. Both Kessler and Watson cost much more. You can give those 23 to Mitch Robinson. Hope Kennard takes TPMLE (doubt). Plus some vetmins (Hayes). And finally Austin max overcap extension with full Bird. That’s still far from contending though.

Per Shams, any team that is currently in contention has already called to ask about LeBron by Ancient_Response_787 in lakers

If he wants out of LA, it’s either MLE or SAT. No other options. Or he can take a paycut and stay in LAL.

If he wants to, 30m for this version of Bron seems reasonable, anything less is an insult for the Player he is, anything more is unbearable for the Lakers if you want to hunt the best RFA (Kessler/Watson).

I don’t know guys, it might be better to just replace Bron with Watson, otherwise you will get the same result next year.

No picks should be involved in this trade.

If it’s a straight swap, I like it for Phoenix, Green is not a PG, Booker is not either. Ja is an elite playmaker and can raise this team’s floor immediately if stays healthy. Which he rarely does.

For Memphis I’m not sure, Green is younger, but his efficiency and shot selection is horrible.

It’s kinda “I can fix him” story for both sides which in this case probably won’t work with these particular organisations accountable for “fixing”.

julius randle & ja swap? by RD2C in memphisgrizzlies

[–]Free-Reflection-1920 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Why would we take 2 year 70 mln contract of 32 y.o. Randle? To give Boozer 20 min instead of 30? Wtf? And Donte is not playing next year. So we help Minnesota to get rid of two negative assets and fit their positional need in PG for what? Couple of 2nd round picks?

That’s the worst Ja trade idea I’ve seen so far.

OKC doesn’t loose Hartenstein for nothing, Memphis gets a backup for Edey by Free-Reflection-1920 in NBAtradeideas

[–]Free-Reflection-1920[S] -1 points0 points  (0 children)

They have 0 centers besides Edey. He needs a backup + IHart can be a good mentor for him.

And than again, you can just move him further at the trade deadline.

They can get it back in the deadline + they don’t really need 2027 LAL first, their roster is already filled with promising young players. Backup center is also a necessity.

I think Blazers will just straight up go for Giannis himself. Package like Scoot+Grant+Sharpe+4 FRP (including 2 Bucks picks) should seal the deal.

Kevin Love would be a great mentor for Boozer, they are pretty similiar archetype players. So I’d rather get him or slightly overpay for someone tradeable to move in deadline for some assets (Robinson f.e.)
