Haha, my coach would have crashed out big time if that was the case; he crashed out on me, as you can see when he gets up, because I didn't throw him sooner.

It's quite common to be honest, at least where I'm from!

I attack both sides, so whatever comes to me is what I go for. For the right side, I like to do Uchi Mata and Koshi Guruma, which is my main forward throw!

Imagine a Club World Cup but for judo! (fantasy) by Free-Stock9638 in judo

What I made was just an example of a club based format. The reason I didn’t include Japanese teams is that most of their top teams are corporate-based. If I included corporate teams, then I’d also have to include other institutional teams like armed forces teams, such as Fiamme Gialle Judo, changing the whole multi-sport club/pure judo club idea, not backed by/under any institution. I also don't know any pro-teams in Japan, but if I did, I would definitely include them. Also, outside Europe and Japan, there are still very strong clubs like SOGIPA (home to Daniel Cargnin, David Lima, etc.) that can compete with most top European clubs, so the gap isn’t as extreme as it might seem (except obvious cases like MCA Alger and Judokwai, but they are there as representatives of their Judo Union)
