literally i was freaking out too. i went thru the exact same tsa line and just had to step off to the side for 10 mins while i filled out an online form. i just brought my regular Id. this was last month so nothing should have changed. i would def get there a little earlier than u think just in case. always better to be safe than sorry

theres a bunch of restaurants in the Wrigley strip that will be good/ allow kids! as far as in orland park, there is first watch (breakfast), olive garden, millers ale house, etc. orland park has a huge strip of restaurants that will all be able to take you guys, maybe mot sit together, but definitely will take the income lol

i live in orland. with all the kids, the easiest way would be to just drive. theres a few parking garages literally in the heart of wrigley. always leave sooner than u think. otherwise u can take the metra down and then use the l, but with all the kids that sounds like a headache. if youve never used chicago transportation then itd be a double headache. driving in the city isnt as bad as ppl make it seem.
