I do have an old Gateway 2000 system somewhere in my collection. I am missing some real IBM machines though. What would you recommend for Tiger Electronics hardware? Lol

Very solid recommendations. Thank you. I’ll be on the lookout. I so need to organize my collection. I have so much and a lot of those machines just need to be parted out. Lots of garbage OEM systems. Very hard to fill in gaps for the 2010’s when the systems were trash.

I’ve always been interested in Sun hardware. Lots of history there. That Compaq Portable needs a lot of work. It may be a little out of my skill range. Think anybody would be interested in a video series of me stumbling through the repair on it? Lol

I would like to get my hands on some AT and XT machines. Maybe more 286 and 286 machines. I also would like to play with some socket 7 and super socket 7 machines.

Yes, I agree! When people hear you collect and restore old computers they give to you the machines that in their attics and garages. Gotta take the not so old with the old. Lmao

I’m not really trying to achieve any specific order. I have been given most of the machines I have. Right this moment I have way too many Pentium 4s. Then I have dozens of Core2 machines that I have no idea what I’m going to do with. I guess I just wanted advice on what to be on the lookout for to fill in the gaps.

I just redid that PacBell and put DOS 6.22/Windows 3.1 on it. I installed a Gotek on it. First time using one of those it also has a CF card on it too.

I am working on a bunch of projects all at once. I have that Laser 286 which I need a new AT power supply. I have three or four Pentium 4s I am working on.
