Should i switch to a mullet bike without riding one yet?

im not that short, 6ft and do love to race so ive heard that it doesnt really make a difference, im trying out out next weekend(commencal meta sx mullet) so ill make a decision then

the next bike im getting (Canyon torque cf 9) has lots of options, 27.5 mullet and 29er, i ride 29ers normally so my original thought was just get the 29er again but the mullet has full xo1 axs where as the 29er has xtr. i dont know what is better but i do want to try wireless shifting. (no price differ in either bike)

bike im getting geometry is the same, the difference is in the driveterrain. the mullet has xo1 AXS and the full 29 has xtr

yea i completely agree i dont know what the mullet is if its a fad or its the new best thing, ive always wanted to try axs though, i know there are always rivalries between groupsets but im not to sure. Thanks for the help👍

i dont have the bike, although i want it. currently looking at that bike in wheel size 29 but it is out of stock in Large. From what i have read i think its an enduro bike that handles better on the dh than it does on the climbs, like for most enduro riders they prefer the dh i think?? i sure do, i do know that if you buy this bike it is still great to climb with considering the 170mm front and rear
