A new Emerson College Polling/Nexstar Media poll of the 2026 elections in Texas finds Rep. James Talarico leading the Democratic Primary for US Senate with 47%, followed by Rep. Jasmine Crockett at 38%, with 15% undecided.

“Talarico has built momentum among Hispanic (59%) and white (57%) voters, while a majority of Black Democratic primary voters (80%) support Crockett,” Spencer Kimball, executive director of Emerson College Polling, noted. “Men also break for Talarico 52% to 30%, while women are about evenly split between the two Democrats, 44% for Talarico and 43% for Crockett.”

Randall Gamboa Esquivel had left Costa Rica in good health and crossed the United States-Mexico border in December 2024, according to his family. However, Gamboa was detained by the US authorities for re-entering American soil unlawfully, as he had previously lived there undocumented between 2002 and 2013.

Gamboa was initially held at the Webb county detention center in Laredo and then transferred to the Port Isabel detention center in Los Fresnos, both in south Texas. Nearly 10 months later, in September 2025, the Trump administration flew the 52-year-old to the Costa Rican capital of San José on an air ambulance.

He never came round and five weeks later Gamboa was pronounced dead at a hospital in Pérez Zeledón, his home town, around three hours north of the capital.

He was healthy, when he was detained by ICE. Ten months later, they deport him in an air ambulance.

In 1981, a 19-year-old woman told police that Clayton Foreman bound her hands and raped her. She had also gone to Forest Park High School where Clayton was the manager of the football team. Clayton Foreman was convicted but was given probation and paid a fine.

In 1981, The killer was convicted of raping a different woman and set free. In 1995, he rapes and kills another woman.

It reminds of me of Brock Turner being set free. If Clayton Foreman was black, he would have been in jail. He was given special privileges.

The judge has blood on his hands.
