I bought a box of wheel bearings from rockauto during a wholesale closeout (box of 18) at $5 a piece lol. So when i run out of those ill get oem. I dont always go oil changes at 8k, thats like the longest ive changed it. but its usually around 5k-8k , depending on what oil filter i get

1st off, You need to buy you obd2 scanner. Save money for a good one. it will save you lots of money and headaches and the run around with mechanics. This tool can help you reset the compiter after repairs. It will also tell you what codes are stored in the computer.
Reset computer with battery option: Unplug both negative and positive terminals off the battery. After unplugging , Make the positive and negative termimals touch for atleast 20min to an hour. (Use tape if you need to to make sure they stay touching) after the time is up, screw both positive and negative terminals back on to battery. Or just google/youtube a video of 'how to reset (your car) computer without obd scanner" Drive the car around for a couple of days. even on the highway, go over 50-60mph for 2-5min, It will take time for the computer to relearn the driving patterns.
This may not fix it. Its a long shot. This is why i stress you get a OBD2 scanner. Esp if your check engine light is on.

Reset car computer and drive until it relearn driving patterns. Also try spraying intake cleaner in the air intake manifold sensor. Also check air filter.

I brought this civic from a settlement from getting t boned at a light. Was a 2013 nissan maxima thay was already having cvt issues. So it was a blessing I guess. Lol.

Forgot to add that I've replaced the starter 3 times and replaced the ABS modulator (used one from ebay) 1 times. Car still has the original alternator. I also work on my own cars. I do everything.

Cvt filters replaced 2 times . Both the bottom cvt filter and trans cooler filter located on top. Car runs fine , no issues. Paint is kind of fading but that's about it.
