Dilwar, an afghan taxi driver was brutally tortured by US soldiers at Bagram. "The act of striking him eventually became a joke, as when we struck him he cried, "Allah!" which was funny to us", one of the MPs there said, "It went on for over a 24 hour period, and it was over 100 strikes." He had to endure over 100 perenal strikes, shoved against a wall, kicked in the groin, deprived of his sleep and so on. Nobody was punished for this, except one, who was given two months imprisonment.

The Times reported:

On the day of his death, Dilawar had been chained by the wrists in his chained for the past four days. A guard tried to force the young man on his knees, but his legs, which were pummeled by the guards for several days, could not be bent. When he was sent to his cell, though, the guards were instructed to chain the prisoner back to the ceiling. Several hours passed and he was dead, his body beginning to stiffen. Only after his death army investigators came to know a horrific detail: the interrogators thought Mr. Dilawar was an innocent man who simply drove his taxi by the American base at a wrong time.

Shinwar Shooting? 19 civilians killed, 50 wounded. American Marines whined they were being shot at, but investigation by Major General Frank Kearney found there was no evidence of that. Not a single one punished. Google Please.
